The development of an immense area on Saudi Arabia's north-west coast has been led by conservationists and scientists whose consultation has shaped how the area can be used for tourism. Only 5% of the land acquired will be developed with the rest remaining in its natural state. This Red Sea coast comprises a fragile eco system that includes a number of rare species and a huge pristine archipelago. The work of Red Sea Global is to protect this natural diversity and support its health by creating conservation zones and educating visitors and the community on how to maintain this precious balance.
